2024 Schedule for Bulk Waste and Metals Collection
TOWN OF BEAVER DAM RESIDENTS USING GARBAGE ASSESSMENT
From 8:00am – 12:00pm on the following dates, dumpsters will be available for bulk waste and metals disposal at the Town Hall located at W8540 County Road W. This service is available for all residents that receive and pay for garbage assessment through the Town of Beaver Dam. Residents that DO NOT receive or pay for garbage assessment will be able to purchase Bulk Waste Cards to use on Bulk Waste collection. The cost of this being $20 per card, with no limit on card purchases. $20 is the charge per trip, per dumpster day, per unit. Unit being defined as one vehicle or one trailer. Cards are non-refundable. You must bring a Bulk Waste Card with you for bulk waste disposal. Proof of town residence must be provided at time of card purchase and on bulk waste collection day. No construction/roofing materials, appliances, tree limbs, tires, oil, fluorescent lights, freezers, air conditioners, paints or household chemicals. For items not collected (i.e. construction materials, tires, appliances, etc.) or disposal of items outside of these dates, and for current rates, please contact:

The Town of Beaver Dam has a Yard Waste dump site. Starting 2023 and moving forward the dump site will be open April 1 until November 15. Yard Waste (lawn clippings, leaves, garden materials) & BRUSH drop off is located at the Town Hall. RESIDENTS ONLY – NO CONTRACTORS. Sticks/limbs/stumps are not to exceed 4 inches in diameter and 6 feet in length. Violators may be fined up to $1,000.
CURBSIDE PICK UP OF RECYCLING GUIDELINES:
(All items below must be rinsed clean and placed unbagged in the proper recycling container provided by the collection agency.)
MIXED CONTAINERS: aluminum cans and clean aluminum foil, tin cans, steel cans, aerosol cans, empty/dried paint cans, glass bottles and jars, #1-7 plastic, milk cartons, juice boxes, soup cartons
MIXED PAPER: Newspaper, magazines, books, mail, school/office paper, brown corrugated cardboard, gray chipboard (cereal & shoe boxes), brown paper bags, shredded paper (bagged in clear plastic)
DO NOT PUT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS IN THE RECYCLING CART: Styrofoam of any kind, trash, construction materials, clothing, yard waste, household hazardous waste, electronics
